Acorns is probably the best investment app for beginners. This app’s UI is very welcoming, and it will guide you through the investment process. Acorns will also keep track of all your transactions. So, what’s so special about this app? Well, it’s not your regular investment app. It invests your money automatically, through “Round-Ups”. • Size: Varies with device
  • Google Play rating: 3.9 out of 5 stars

Robinhood is an app you’ve probably heard of by now. It came under scrutiny a while back, so that’s how many people found out about it, even though it was quite popular before. Having said that, if you’re aiming to trade stocks, this is one of the best apps in the Play Store. You can deposit money, trade stocks, and also easily withdraw money when you think the best time to do it is.

This app also allows you to trade cryptocurrencies, if you want. Robinhood will also help you better understand investing in general. It allows you to access real-time market data, see analyst ratings, and read relevant news articles which may help with your investments. This app’s UI design is also quite modern. So, the app not only looks really nice, but it works well, and is worth trying out, at the very least.

  • Price: Free to download
  • In-app purchases: $0.99 – $394.99

  • Google Play rating: 4.3 out of 5 stars

Webull is somewhat similar to Robinhood, it’s just not as welcoming to those of you who are new to investing. Don’t get me wrong, the app is not complicated to use at all, but you need to know what you’re doing, it won’t hold your hand every step of the way. By using Webull you can invest in stocks, ETFs, and options with Webull Financial. On top of that, you can buy or sell cryptocurrencies.

The app has zero commission when you trade stocks, ETFs, and options. It also has zero commission per contract fee when you trade options. On top of that, the zero commissions rule applies for minimum deposit requirements for brokerage accounts and IRAs. You can even place trades via this app by using your voice. The app’s UI is also quite good, by the way.

Checkout is also easy, with your credit or debit card or a bank transfer. The app will keep you notified when it spots any price movements for cryptocurrencies you’re interested in. All of your deposited assets are completely separated from Bybit’s operating budget, by the way, just for security’s sake, and also for the company’s financial accountability and transparency. There’s also a neat widget that comes with the app.
